Strategy 2035: Creating Opportunity, Transforming Futures

The university’s Strategy 2035 aims to create opportunity by offering high-quality education, developing students’ skills, and shaping the future to create a fairer, more productive, and sustainable society through learning, research, and knowledge exchange.

Changing the world for the better

The University of Wolverhampton’s research is wide-ranging, tackling everything from brain tumours to cybersecurity, rainforest governance, and biodegradable dressings. At the heart of all they do is a desire to change the world for the better.

Academics and researchers collaborate with others around the world, and the latest Research Excellence Framework, released in 2022, judged more than half of its output to be either internationally excellent or world-leading.

Specialist academic schools

At the University of Wolverhampton, courses are taught by one of the specialist academic schools, which are grouped into three overarching faculties. Each school specialises in subject areas headed up by academic staff who are experts in their fields, with many courses accredited by recognised professional bodies.
